UFC 276 Israel Adesanya vs Jared Cannonier: Start Time, How to Watch, Fight Card

UFC 276 is a mega card, with two title fights, a handful of rising stars and legendary fighters at the end of their careers. Just a fantastic set of top-down clashes.

At the top of the card, middleweight king Israel Adesanya faces Jared Cannonier. It is a fight that Adesanya must win – with good reason. Cannonier is getting this title fight because Adesanya has cleaned up the middleweight division and is running laps. Still, this is MMA, and with little four-ounce gloves, anything is possible. This goes double with Cannonier, who has legitimate power in his hands.

Alexander Volkanovski vs Max Holloway is without a doubt the most exciting fight at UFC 276. The duo has fought twice, but both fights were incredibly near. Volkanovski won a clear, if close, decision when they first met in UFC 245but your second fight in UFC 251 it was more controversial. Many booked this fight for Holloway, but Volkanovski won via a close split decision according to the judges. It’s rare for a fighter to get a third chance like Holloway is getting here, but given the context of his previous fights, it makes sense. Volkanovski and Holloway are clearly at the top of the featherweight division, and I can’t wait to see them fight for the third time.

Below the two belt disputes, we have Sean Strickland x Alex Pereira. The winner of this fight will likely face the winner of Adesanya and Cannonier next. The UFC almost certainly hopes to pit Pereira against Adesanya next, as Pereira actually has two wins over Adesanya in his kickboxing days.

Elsewhere, rising star Sean O’Malley steps up in competition against Pedro Munhoz. Jim Miller and Cowboy Cerrone are also on the preliminary card alongside former UFC champion Robbie Lawler. ONE much of big names are competing at UFC 276.
