Stranger Things: Duffer Brothers will bring the Upside Down to the Masterclass

in front of strange things 4 Volume 2 premieres July 1, creators Matt and Ross Duffer are provoking another surprise for fans. The duo is launching a course on master class where they will teach storytelling and screenwriting. Now household names for the pop culture giant’s creation, the brothers will take classes that join those of Ron Howard, Shonda Rhimes, Martin Scorsese and Judy Blume.

Masterclass posted a series of cryptic messages on its social media accounts that feature the Duffer brothers and images of vecna, Dungeons and Dragons bloody illustrations and props. Marked with a date stamp, a clip suggests the course will be released on June 30, 2022.

Known for weaving ’80s nostalgia and D&D lore into Stranger Things stories, the Duffers first introduced the series in 2016. They were rejected more than 15 times before Netflix picked up the show. While the brothers have gained legions of fans because of the show, they also have experience writing and producing other projects. While Stranger Things is likely to be at the forefront of the Masterclass course, users can enjoy the Duffers experience beyond the popular series.

A typical Masterclass consists of 15-20 video lessons from your celebrity instructor. Categories include entertainment, writing, food, business, music and wellness with professors such as Alicia Keys, Gordon Ramsay, Steph Curry and Anna Wintour. Because it’s online, you can watch and learn at your own pace and watch the videos again if you want.
